While painting in Maine one summer, I kept noticing all the blue containers on the docks in the small harbors up and down the Maine coast. The boxes with the air slits hold the fresh lobsters, while the drums contain the fresh-caught fish from the bays and ocean. Painting these containers is a good lesson in painting different values.
