Tied Up in Knots

Description

While vacationing in Belfast, Maine, I noticed the dinghies tied up at the dock. It seems boats have traffic jams just like cars. I painted the boats and dock with a lot of texture. The paper was treated with a couple coats of white gesso to reveal more texture when the paint was applied. The hot sun shining on the dock and the dinghies makes me want to jump into one and explore the coves and inlets in Penobscot Bay in Maine.
