Description
The dinner bell was done on location in Frederick County, Virginia. The bell is located just off the side porch which leads into the kitchen of the stone farmhouse. The house was built by a Pennsylvania Quaker around 1760. I painted it on handmade paper to complement the rust on the old bell. Many hungry tummies were happy to hear the peal of this dinner bell when it rang for dinner.
